Folks on Spokes bicycle riding group and the Iowa Snowbird Club are holding a food drive on February 10 and 11 to benefit the Christian Service Center. The food drive is being held at the Gulf State Park Campground from 8:00 a.m. until noon. The $2.00 park entrance will be waived during these hours both days with a donation to the food drive. The food donation drop site is located at the Nature Center Pavilion. Items can be placed in the grocery carts near the camp store or someone will be available to take your donation in a drive-through manner.

The Center’s food pantry accepts any unopened and nonperishable foods, as well as toiletries, detergent, diapers, and paper products. Currently, the pantry is especially in need of ramen noodles, oatmeal, grits, and cereal. Cash donations are certainly welcome as we can often purchase food at a discount.

The Christian Service Center (CSC) is an all volunteer agency providing food and emergency aid to low income families in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Fort Morgan.
