Folks on Spokes (a bicycle riding group), the Iowa Snowbird Club, and Gulf State Park held their third annual food drive for the Christian Service Center February 10th and February 11th, 2023, at the Gulf State Park Campground. The park entrance fee was waived for those bringing food donations.

The 2023 totals are approximately 1,500 pounds of food and $1215.00 in cash for the Food Pantry. The cash donated will purchase another 7,000 pounds of food from Feeding the Gulf Coast. This comes at a time when the Center is experiencing high demand on food resources and is also dealing with rapidly rising food costs. Thanks to all who organized the event, and thank you to everyone who made a contribution.
