Folks on Spokes, a bicycle riding group, and the Iowa Snowbird Club held their 2nd Annual Food Drive for the Christian Service Center on February 11 and 12 at the Gulf State Park Campground. The park entrance fee was waived for those bringing food donations.

This year’s effort was a huge success! The 2022 totals are approximately 2,500 pounds of food and $831.00 in cash for the Food Pantry. This comes at a time when the Center has been experiencing high demand on food resources and is dealing with rapidly rising food costs. Thanks to all who organized the event and thank you to everyone who made a contribution.

The Christian Service Center is a nonprofit, all volunteer agency that provides food and emergency aid to families in need in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Fort Morgan. The Center is located at 317 Dolphin Avenue, Gulf Shores, Alabama, 36542; 251-968-5256.
