Donating time to Christian Service Center is personally rewarding and enables the Center to provide support to our local residents in their time of need. We offer the following opportunities to be of service to our community:

Administrative Assistant (AA) — Greet clients, general office duties. Training provided.

Case Worker (CW) — Interview clients; verify needs of clients and determine what CSC can/will do. Training provided.

Pantry Worker — Fill food bins for clients; assist in re-stocking shelves; re-bag bulk items.

Wise Hope — Input client data into the computer during an assigned week. Basic computer skills necessary, very user friendly program. Training provided.

Fundraising — Members of the Fundraising Committee enjoy brainstorming about ways to raise money for the Center. Once an event is agreed upon, then the members work together to execute.

Newsletter — Newsletter writing and layout skills are always needed.

Children’s Christmas Cheer — Organize all in-coming toys, pack all bags, and prepare for distribution.

Spaghetti Dinner — Work on fundraising and publicity before the February event. The day of the event set up, kitchen work, plate line, waiters, and clean up positions are available. This is our annual fundraiser.

Food Pick-up from stores/restaurants — Pick up food from stores and restaurants on a regular basis.

Meals on Wheels — Meals on Wheels needs regular drivers to deliver meals once a week which only takes about an hour. We also need substitute drivers. The recipient of the meal enjoys and needs this daily contact, sometimes this is their only contact with the outside world.
