Church of God, Worldwide

The Church of God, a Worldwide Association met in Orange Beach for the ninth year during the week of October 17, 2022.  It is their desire to bless our communities while they are here, and again they showered the Christian Service Center with an amazing abundance of giving.  Each day the group collected food, household goods, paper products, hygiene items, baby supplies, and cash donations.  This year they also collected toys and art supplies which will be used in area pre-K and after-school programs as well as CSC’s Birthday Club.

Over $13,000 was donated by charitable attendees.  This amount will purchase 87, 500 pounds of food from Feeding the Gulf Coast food bank–that’s over 43 tons of food!  Their generosity will aid families in need in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Fort Morgan.  We at CSS are overcome with gratitude.

South Baldwin Community Theater

South Baldwin Community Theater’s Young Adult Series production of Fantastic Mr. Fox and James the Giant Peach held a fundraiser to support the Christian Service Center.

The young artists baked delicious treats and provided them on a donation basis during intermission at the shows.  What a wonderful project and a great blessing for CSC and families in need.

School Supplies

Steve Jones and Ryan Moberly of the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber delivered to CSC a load of school supplies given by their members.  It was a marvelous array of all the things kids need to start back to school.  What a joy to be able to share with our clients.

Seagrass Village Gives

Tammy Hutchinson, Sales Director at Seagrass Village, brought numerous boxes of baby formula to CSC.  This will be such a blessing to some of our families.  Thank you Seagrass Village.
