The Christian Service Center serves families living in Gulf Shores, Fort Morgan, and Orange
Beach. The programs offered are:

Emergency Aid
The Christian Service Center works to provide help with housing, utilities, and medical expenses to persons who have financial emergencies. Clients are also given help in finding other sources to answer their needs. Clients are provided budget counseling, assistance in solving their problems and referrals to other agencies to further meet their needs.

Food Pantry
The food pantry is stocked by the local churches, the Pleasure Island Ministerial Association, businesses, clubs, local citizens, and our winter visitors.

OZANAM Charitable Pharmacy
Clients who need financial help with Prescription Drugs will be screened for eligibility for this program.

Medical Equipment
Durable medical equipment (wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs, etc.) is available for anyone. There is no charge and no time limit for this service.

Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels provides hot nourishing meals five days a week for home bound persons unable to prepare their own meals.

Repair Baldwin
Clients who own a home in need of repairs which they cannot afford will be evaluated for assistance and referred to Repair Baldwin.

Christmas Cheer
The Center conducts the Christmas Cheer Program for Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Fort Morgan families. The program provides clients with food boxes and gifts for their children.

Christmas Spirit
The Christian Service Center has a program to spread cheer during the Holiday season. The Center welcomes names of those who might welcome a visit from a volunteer with a bag of small gifts or goodies. There is no age or financial requirement for this program.

Children’s Birthday Club
Many of our clients have little left over each month to provide a birthday celebration for their children. The Christian Service Center will provide participants with a cake mix, frosting, candles and a toy for their child. This program covers children through twelve years of age, living in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and Fort Morgan.

Back-up Pantry
The Back-up Pantry is available to any older, disabled adult who has no dependable support system in our community. The recipient will receive a free box of non-perishable food providing 16+ meals. The box can be refilled six times a year.

Camp Happy Sands
The CSC screens and coordinates eligibility for client children to attend Camp Happy Sands.

Children’s Summer Food Program
Provides easy to prepare breakfast and lunch items plus 2 snacks a day for 5 days a week while school is out for the summer. The program is available to income qualified families with elementary school age children living in Gulf Shores, Fort Morgan, and Orange Beach.
